My thanks go to you Andrew for an adrenalin, fun filled afternoon enjoying the outdoors from another perspective. The sheep and lambs didn’t seem too disturbed when I did my hill climb up Ben Vorlich. The throb of the engine was probably much more soothing than a gale on that open, exposed landscape.
A memorable day out despite the rainy afternoon. The grip on the road surface was second to none and very reassuring  on the wet surfaces we had to contend with for most of the day. Great boost to the ego to turn a few heads at my age. Maybe it wasn’t me they were looking at! I’ll have to attend a few yoga lessons before the next outing so as to master an elegant mounting and dismounting of the sleek beast. Watching the British Grand Prix this afternoon and will feel a bit more tuned as to what it feels like behind one of those finely tuned machines. The dreams and imagination are more vivid these days. It’s amazing what a day in the Highlands can do for you!
Thanks again,
